How do I know when a new version is published and available for download? I can see the version of W7FC installed on my machine (3.0.3.21), but none of the downloads appear to have precise version numbers. Thanks.

The German release seems to be newer than the English one. Its version number is 3.0.4.27.

We do not think W7FC (as a tool to protect from various background network activities including third party autoupdates) may have/generate its own background network activity.
A separate check-for-upgrade utility will be available later.

The version number is presented in A.B.C.D format.
Only A and B values can be meaningful for end users as C and D are rather very minor fixes and build numbers respectively.
The mentioned version includes some fixes in translations to German.

We have no an official information, but _unfortuantely_ looks like U3 concept “dies”, no new applications at U3.com for a long time, compatible flashes are manufactured by Sandisk only now and no evident marks of U3 compatibility even on the site… So probably U3 english version will be discontinued publicly as well. However if you do need U3 DE Plus version, please contact us directly, we would provide you with U3 DE Plus and change the license for free. Please note that some U3 specifics can be still English (not translated).

I have written a message to your company regarding my request. Would be great if it were possible to provide me with a German version of the portable release, because I think this is the best firewall solution for Win7.
