What has happened to the VFC Server Edition when the V3 of VFC was released these days?
It is no longer shown on your download/buy web page...

I have a valid serial for the V3 plus edition of VFC (upgraded last week from 2.5) but on my Vista machine the beta of the server edition is running.

Will there be updates to the beta Server edition (this beta is a 2.5 version)?

Or will I have to go back to the plus edition without different user support?

If I have to go back to the non-server plus edition, can I just install the V3 Plus edition over the 2.5 beta server?
Or does this force a complete VFC reinstall and tedious manual reconfiguring of the firewall settings for all my programs?

What has happened to the VFC Server Edition when the V3 of VFC was released these days?

The testing period of the Server Edition is over. We are preparing the release basing on Windows 7 dedicated version.

I have a valid serial for the V3 plus edition of VFC (upgraded last week from 2.5) but on my Vista machine the beta of the server edition is running.

The Server edition is separate product line. The licenses are not interchangeable.

Will there be updates to the beta Server edition (this beta is a 2.5 version)?

The Server Edition will be synchronized with Windows 7 firewall control and released as "Windows 7 Firewall Control Server Edition"

Or will I have to go back to the plus edition without different user support?

The TEST license key (of the Server Edition) has no time limitations so if you already registered the beta you may use it.
New registrations are not allowed now.

If I have to go back to the non-server plus edition, can I just install the V3 Plus edition over the 2.5 beta server?

W7 product line supports the version interchange seamlessly only.
In the case of installing VFC2.5 on-the-top the Server Edition you will have to manually remove per-user application settings (shown as appname@username) and then gently (via Service manager) restart the service (or entire PC). The method is not tested however.... The firewall state after the manual deletion is unpredictable till the service start (reboot)
