Main PC needs to be running for Remote Agent PC?

Main PC needs to be running for Remote Agent PC?

Postby Jupp » Thu Mar 30, 2017 7:33 pm

Does the main PC with Firewall Controll Installation needs to be running to use the already installed and configured Remote Agents on the other PCs?
I shut down the main PC and move to the second machine. Is the second PC with Remote Agend protected?

The agent is the self-contained entity.
If the agent is running on a remote PC, the PC is protected.
The main control panel on main PC is required for managing the remote permissions only.

In other words, the remote PC applications follow the permissions already set in spite of the main PC state. If you need to change the remote applications permissions you have to involve the main PC’s control panel
