Resolved: Generation of "prev" zones with update

Thank you for the investigations.

Here is the typical upgrade scenario.
W7FC enumerates all the network adapters on the start. The enumerating should collect all the adapters regardless of the connection state. If an adapter is present but disconnected, W7FC just picks up the adapter name with 0.0.0.0 (typically) IP address and schedules the IP address update for the future. Then W7FC every 20 secs tries to actualize the IP address by the adapter polling.
The attempts are repeated till all the adapters are actualized.
W7FC takes into account the adapters actualization may be delayed by the system. The system does many things on the start, not all the things are completed immediately.
The only need is the adapter presence in any state.
Usually the adapters are created by drivers. The drivers are launched by the system core. So it happens before any other programs and services are launched. The responsible W7FC part is launched as the service, after the drivers. As the result, typically there should not be any problems.
However if a drivers based adapter is controlled by another service that is launched after W7FC service, the problem could arise.
As you said, the “questionable” adapter is pretty straightforward Ethernet one.
Here is the “magic” we would like to realize. Obviously there could be a specific bug in W7FC.
Anyway we would need to verify.

Please specify the exact OS version/bitness/service pack.
We would like to try reproducing ourselves first.
If the attempt fails we will definitely prepare the logging version.
Probably a related fix will be required.

Please try 5.2.19.34
Actually it was very hard to reproduce an Ethernet adapter in the connected state in the required time. The reproduction method was artificial enough as the result.
Anyway the state was reproduced and a related problem found/fixed.
Please try.
We are not sure but do hope we had the chance to reproduce the same specifics exactly.

Great and thanks for the extended explanation: my issue is resolved with this release. I hope that other users will benefit as well (my system is in so far special as it is optimised in many aspects). I did not test on my other XP / Win7 systems as these are of minor interest.

Actually we faced the problem of listing unconnected adapters on XP initially.
The XP reports unconnected (or delayed to connect) adapters with 0.0.0.0 IP and W7FC serves those adapters perfectly.
On Win7 we did not faced the problem at all. Probably the connectivity is performed differently or faster at least.
Anyway thank you very much for attracting attention to the problem and for the cooperation.
